For example, for warcraft 3 I made a new profile, and assigned the war3.exe (just as I did with the g7) to it. However, when in game none of the keys change. I have the LED light set to a different color than the default, and it remains the default color. I have tested this with other programs, such as firefox, and the keys are still not working.
I had no trouble getting the g7 to work correctly, and it switched profiles without any trouble. I am not certain why it would not be doing so now. I have the most recent setpoint for the g9, and all other drivers are up to date. Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer!

Edit1: Automatic switching IS enabled. (I can successfully switch profiles manually using the other option.

Also on vista 32 with setpoint 4 installed concurrently. Auto-switching working fine for firefox at least.

SetPoint does not recognize Battlefield 2 correctly and does not switch to gaming profile when it's started. Also the button assignments don't work even for the general profile.
If I clean the assigned applications list and re-enter bf2.exe and hit Apply & Ok, it may occasionally work, but after rebooting automatic detection stops working again.

Unfortunately it doesn't affect general profile, which keeps ignoring my button assignments all the time. Only way to get them working again is opening SetPoint and hitting Apply & Ok without any changes.

Try this: Make sure your general profile is on the onboard memory of the mouse, apply and OK to flash the save to the firmware of the mouse, then uninstall SetPoint 5. Lets see what happens when the mouse is left entirely to control things via it's memory and no software... I'd apply some strange button combination right before doing this, like "forward" button issuing a "Q" keystroke, then test to see if it keeps it's profile info properly.

One thing, I saw another thread where it was suggested to see what was running in task manager to ensure it was BF2.exe that was being executed. It is, HOWEVER, I noticed that in task manager it is called "BF2.exe *32". If the G9 is looking for an exact match to bf2.exe, would this mess it up?
PS: The reason I am using app detect is I don't want to have to push a button on the bottom of my mouse to switch profiles, am I able to switch profiles manually with SetPoint? (my lack of knowledge of the app showing here)
