^ I think that guy has a point!!!
Anyway I don't know with WarCraft 3 but you can add Crysis to the list of application which does not trigger a profile change. The strange thing is FarCry 2 and Dead Space does.....

Just got Stalker Clear Sky, guess what - it's not detected by the SetPoint II ![]()
Honestly, I am playing 7 titles at the moment and only 3 of them (FC2, FO3 and Dead Space) will trigger a profile change - it kind of defeat the purpose of a configurable gaming mouse
Crysis,
Crysis Warhead,
Far Cry 2
Fall out 3
Dead Space
Stalker - Clear Sky
Left 4 Dead
Please respond Logitech!

So, how many of those and which ones are running on Steam? (I see at least Left for Dead), and I know Crysis and STALKER are steam downloads....
Due to the nature of Steam and how it functions as an omnipresent launching app that "covers over" the game .exe files, it makes it very difficult for the G9 software to determine which game is running (Because Steam is running in the foreground in a way similar to a shell, over the game in terms of system priority). I haven't checked the SetPoint 5.1 to see if we have incorporated a way to peer past Steam, but I should be getting the RC or GM shortly.

Hey CharlesB,
Thanks for getting back to us - it is really appreciated.
None of my titles are downloaded through steam, they are all standalone packages - I like sometihing physical. I have looked in the taskmanager when I am running the problematic titles. On my system the process name is exactly what I pointed out in the profilemanager. Thats why I really don't get it...
My specs are:
Vista Ultimate 32bit, UAC disabled, Core 2 Duo 3.2GHz, 4GbDDR II, AVG anti virus, SetPoint version 5.00.175 Driver version 4.22.52

Thanks for getting back to us CharlesB.
The game I'm having most problems with isn't Steam download, it's BF2. Also, sometimes SetPoint have troubles activating even the default profile! Just today I had to start and stop G9's SetPoint app for several times and re-apply settings for the default profile before I got my mouse speed and button assigments to work
Without this woodoo ritual my cursor was really slow (like 2 full mouse pad widths from edge to edge)

Good day !
I'm having same problems as others and found only one simple solution - After my XP loaded I'm simply restarting my SetPoint. All problems with auto switching going away. But one noisy problem appeared - To turn off my PC I have to shut down SetPoint first or I'll receive message that It can't be closed automatically. I'm using this method since SP3 appeared and I'm really pissed that Logitech don't want to resolve this problem. Two days ago I bought new keyboard "Illuminated". On drivers CD was Set Point 4.6 - I hoped that it'll solve problem but NO !!! I'm curious HOW MANY TIME DO PROGRAMMERS NEED TO FIND SOLUTION ???? A year ??? Or two ??? Or they don't care ??? Most advanced mice for PC and such idiotic problem - Don't you think it's stupid ?
