Since Setpoint update to 2.60.606, MX1000 loses button configs upon reboot...

I use the MX1000 in my left hand, and have the primary and secondary buttons swithed in the WinXP control panel. Setpoint is set to use the OS Implemention, rather than SetPoint Implementation.  This has worked perfectly until about a week ago, when SetPoint updated to 2.60.606.  Ever since the update, every single time I reboot the computer, the mouse is reverted back to the default button settings.  Every time I start up Windows, I have to go back in and re-configure the mouse settings, apply, and hit OK.  It works for that session, but as soon as I restart Windows, or reboot the machine the mouse reverts back to default.  Anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this?  Do I need to roll back the driver to an older version to avoid having to reconfigure the mouse EVERY time I start Windows?

Thank you,
qshark

Try this:
1. Set Control Panel->Mouse back to normal settings.
2. Install the uberOptions mod to add lots of extra settings to SetPoint, including:
3. In SetPoint check "Swap Buttons"

How's that?

Well, I shouldn't have to install additional software to be able to switch the mouse buttons, especially when it worked perfectly before the update.  I want to know if other lefties are having the same problem. If so, then it is obviously something Logitech broke when they updated the software.  No offense, I'm sure your mod is great, but I do not want to be forced to install an additional program just to be able to do the simplest of tasks that the driver should be able to handle.

Thanks,
