Mice - Software

I have a G9 mouse so I downloaded SP5.0. Now I read that v. 5.0 is for G9 only. well, I use a gereric mouse and a Trackman Wheel trackball also. Different mice for different family members or uses.

Question is this:G9 uses  v. 5.0. What doI use with the Trackman? Generic mouse can use Vista drivers, no big deal. Can I run 2 versions of SetPoint? How do I keep 1 from overwriting the other when installing 2nd v.?

While I'm on the subject, I can't get the buttons to program to other uses for gaming mode.The game only has a few important buttons. Laser lock, fire laser, fire rocket, change ship config, jump, map/detailmap, change ammo type, different missles, and mines.

Flying is by holding left button down.

Release button and single click on target, click again to stop shooting.

Rocets are space bar

laser:1,2,3,4 ,5

ship config: c

jump portal: j

details on map: toggle h

mines: m (or) y

Doesn't get much simpler. 

Any help appreciated.

I forgot this. MS Windows Vista home premier (SP1), Intel Core2 Quad Q6600@ 2.4GHz, 3 gig ram, ATI Radeon HD2600 Pro.  Let me know if you need more details.
