Crashing when I unplug my mouse

I've owned a MX Revolution, VX Revolution, and VX Nano over the last 4+ years.  Whenever I have the LCC software installed, I have like a 50% chance of completely crashing my Macbook Pro when I unplug my receiver.  If I don't have the LCC installed, it never crashes.

Unfortunately, I got my VX Nano recently, and without the LCC installed, the mouse is really buggy.  With the LCC, I have to deal with crashes whenever I unplug.

What can I do about this crashing?  I'm running LCC 2.7 (the latest) currently.  If I can't fix the crashing, is there a way to turn off the 'Ignore trackpad when mouse present' feature conveniently?  Like with a keystroke?  Or upon turning off the mouse?  Something so I wouldn't need to unplug the mouse when I move around and can't use it.  That way I wouldn't need to unplug it so often, and thus I wouldn't crash so often.

Re: Crashing when I unplug my mouse

Does the same thing happen with LCC 2.6?

Version 2.7 has caused several quirks with my iMac.

Re: Crashing when I unplug my mouse

I've been using USB Overdrive now since my last post, and my mouse is working better than ever.  It's a far superior product to the LCC, and I don't mind clicking "OK" after a reboot for the Shareware version.  I'll probably pay for the full version soon.  After seeing how enjoyable it is (and not crashing anymore) I don't even want to get the LCC to work.  You can go ahead and fire the developers of the LCC since they've only managed to put out terribly buggy software over the years.  Now we have a much better replacement product built!  Thanks for your attention anyhow.
