I just posted this yesterday so it hasn't been very long but I can't find any other support for this product. Should I just assume some Logitech products are incompatible with macs and return this? Does anyone out there have any advice?

I just bought the cordless trackman wheel and installed the software. It doesn't show up in the logitech control center though and doesn't work at all. I've double checked my connections and battery installation. They all seem to be correct. I have the marble mouse and that shows up.
I'm running 10.6.3 and installed the latest version of the logitech software 3.2.0. I'm really interested in getting this figured out and would appreciate any assistance.
In a separate but probably related issue, the marble mouse doesn't work until I unplug and replug the cord to the keyboard. That started after the snow leopard install.

not so fast-have you done the usual, restarted your Mac, then fired up the Logitech Control Center. Does the
trackman wheel show up in system preferences/mice? Maybe try running disk utility and repair permissions?
unless it says "not compatible with Mac", I'd have to assume that it is...
last resort-call Logitech
JB.

Thanks for the response. I've done all that (few times). ![]()
Could it be because I have the marble mouse installed already?
