Not quite. If a mouse driver is able to mess up the browser tabs, who knows what else can destroy. I downgraded to 2.60. Doing so I even get the pop up message telling me when the mouse connects/disconnects.

This is getting silly, is there any word when this LCC software will be updated to resolve this issue?
I think this will be my last logitech mouse I purchase for my Mac now.

Just sent in a message about the issue to Logitech, which is what everyone here should do, at least. I directed them back to this forum post as well.
I am very disappointed in their product support. For a major release like Snow Leopard or Windows 7, shouldn't they be on top of these sorts of issues with updates to software being their number one priority? Yet here we wait, almost two months later, with nothing at all from them.

Especially as they announce announce in many places that this is the Snow Leopard supported version.
I'm really on the verge of throwing my MX Air mouse off on a shelf, and just going out and buying a new mouse. Perhaps the new shiny Magic Mouse.

Use 1password 3, Safari 4, and Logitech drivers? Safari tabs look strange? remove "/Library/ScriptingAddons/LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader.osax"

Thanks so much! It works! Tested it out and the look of my tabs are back to normal!
It doesn't seem to disable any significant features of LCC, as far as I can tell. This works for me until the horrible people at Logitech decide to update this huge flaw. Finally some clever person figured this out at 1password.

Yep - wrote into Logitech support and was told to call the Mac specific line instead…never got around to it, but glad to see it was a < 5 second fix.
Back to normal for me as well! Thanks!

Glad for the fix, but I must say it's sad when the fix is such a small simple thing, and when users have to find the solution on their own on a supposedly supported version.

Yes, it works indeed. Now if anyone can explain how in hell an empty directory should affect the Safari tabs I'd be very grateful. Just crazy. I spent 3 days trying to fix this problem weeks ago.

Yes to get rid of the strange tabs, just remove (or zip or put somewhere else) the package
"/Library/ScriptingAdditions/LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader.osax"
