Re: LCC 3.1 and Safari 4.0.3 issue in 10.6.1

Over 7 months since the first complaint on this forum, and still no fix from Logitech.

It appears that Logitech needs to see an easy way to reproduce the problem, so HERE IT IS:

1. Install  Safari AdBlocker (which installs SIMBL)

2. Launch Safari & open several tabs to different sites

3. Quit Safari

4. Launch Safari

5. (menu) History | Reopen all windows from last session

What you see looks something like this:

To reiterate previous posts, one solution is to move or delete: /Library/ScriptingAdditions/LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader.osax

Incidentally, this is where SIMBL.osax resides--so anything that uses SIMBL is vulnerable to Logitech's bug.

If you only use a Logitech keyboard, this is not a huge problem.  Logitech mouse users may want to look here for more information:

GLIMS blog

Note: if the two inline images do not appear, the hosting site (or link) is down.  Uploading the images directly to this forum did not work for me in Safari or Firefox.  I think there is another bug in this forum.

[ Edited ]

Safari 5.0 DOES NOT ACTUALLY FIX this problem for me.
