LCC for snow leopard ?

Hello.

Does anybody know whether LCC is available somewhere for the macos 10.6, also known as "snow leopard" ? I didn't find it on the offical site.

Thank you for the feedback.

Re: LCC for snow leopard ?

LCC 3.0 came out on August 5, 2009.  Maybe with Snow Leopard support?

Re: LCC for snow leopard ?

This post from Woody, from the Logitech products team, is on the keyboards and keyboards and mice for Mac section:

Note:

The LCC 3.0 is not Snow Leopard supported at this time, but next LCC version will be.

Re: LCC for snow leopard ?

Things kind of work with a 32 bit kernel in SL but one thing that isn't working is the button under the scrollwheel getting into Expose or Spaces. I suspect it's not so much the button but the API to enter those states are changed and LCC doesn't know about.

Well, it's offcial, Snow Leopard in 4 days.  Think we'll have an updated driver by then?

[ Edited ]

Seem's support doesn't check the Mac section very often.  LCC 3.0 is out and the sticky talks about 2.70.

Re: LCC for snow leopard ?

To install Logitech Control Center 3.0 on Snow Leopard (Mac OS 10.5), follow these steps:

Alternate-click the LCC Installer and select “Show Package Contents”

Navigate to Contents > Resources > Logitech Control Center.mpkg and run this file

The installer will run and then request a reboot

After the reboot, everything should work.  I installed on 10.6 this morning and was able to customize my Logitech keyboard and mouse with no problems.  LCC 3.0 may not be officially "supported" on 10.6, but this should get you functional.

Re: LCC for snow leopard ?

3.0 does not officially support Snow Leopard. I installed it using that trick and it still doesn't configure one of my buttons on my VX Nano.
