I have been using third party mice with Macs for about 10 years and they all have jumped and behaved erratically like this. The only one that hasn't done this is my G9 which of course does not have Mac drivers.

So to add to the thread, it is very disappointing that Logitech have obviously made the decision NOT to support the G9 on the Mac platform despite repeated requests for the G9 to be added to the LCC support.

Obviously Mac users are classed as second class consumers in this respect unless there is a good reason why the G9 still does not have Mac support after all this time.

I would like some OS X support for the G9 too.

A simple driver and a little control panel will do, but at least something, come on!

I'm glad to have my G13 working, but what's the use of a G13, if the G9 is not working as it should?

Ive read many threads on the problems of OS X sporadic mouse jumping/lag/skipping etc and there does not seem to be any specific way to re-create the problem so Apple cannot fix it. Some have reported changing graphics cards, some only had the problem when using mini-display port, some changed USB port, some just reinstalled OS X. Though the problem is very real.

+1 on making a driver for this mouse!

It's **bleep** annoying not to be able to use it properly or having to boot to windows just to change macros.

First I wanted to buy a G9 for my mac, but I found out that Control Center does not support it, so I ended up buying a Razer Mamba.

I think I've solved this problem. I used Steermouse to lower the tracking speed to very a low speed. Then I increased the sensitivity on the mouse itself to full. I haven't had any problems since. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
