I'm having a problem in Wow; whenever I use mousewheel up or down the pointer jumps to the top right of the screen. This is on an Intel iMac with a fresh install of the OS (10.5), WoW and Device Manager 2.6 (plus all updates/patches).
Before I reinstalled everything the only problem I had was that it was impossible to use the mousewheel button without also doing wheelup/down, the button now works fine! The jumping pointer doesn't happen when in window mode.
I'd be grateful for any ideas/suggestions
thanks

found a solution on another thread:-
"Just go to "Macintosh HD > Library > InputManagers" and delete the "LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader" folder, should work."
switching it off in the User panel may also work. you'll have to reconfigure the buttons upon restarting

This resolved the problem with World of Warcraft (I was also experiencing it)...
But now, from time to time, when I log-out (for example, to switch video cards on my MacBook Pro (my going to System Preferences -> Energy Saver -> select Better battery life or Higher performance.... The Logitech.Control Center Daemon doesn't always die gracefully -- In fact, it doesn't die at all....

Which in turn, seems to lead to,

Which eventually shows me the blue screen of death...
Anyone else experiencing something similar? Any advice?

I don't think this is an entirely safe solution -- without that enhancer bundle, my control center fails to shutdown correctly (which in turn can crash my Mac, most notably when I'm logging out and back in while changing the video card settings....)
Can someone from Logitech comment on this please?

For those of you who find your way to this post, I was experiencing the jumping cursor problem in WoW when using the scroll wheel. The cursor would jump to the upper left corner of the screen. If I uninstalled LCC, then the problem would go away, but I would lose the ability to program the additional buttons.
After further research and discussions with customer support, here is a working solution to the problem that does not require removing some obscure installation directory.
Uninstall your current LCC version and install LCC 2.3.1. Please contact customer support to get LCC 2.3.1, or may download the installer from the link below, if it is still active:
ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/mouse/mac/l
After you have fininshed downloading, extract the ZIP contents and double-click on the installer.
With this version I do not experience the jumping cursor nor do I lose any functionality for my additional buttons. My system is a Power Mac G5 with Mac OS X 10.4.11. For those of you wondering about Leopard compatibility, LCC version 2.3.1 is the only version that supports Leopard, according to the link below:
Answer Title: Troubleshooting: Leopard and LCC compatibility questions

I hope this helps.
