Mice With Mac (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

Bought the LX8 but it won't pair with the in-built bluetooth of my MacBook. It's not even discoverable. I don't want to waste a USB port with the dongle.

Is there a combination of mouse buttons needed to get it to pair?

The Logitech page about mice shows the LX8 to be wireless only, not Bluetooth.

Is this a different or newer model?

Ha! You're not wrong, it doesn't actually mention Bluetooth in the specs, just 'wireless' 

D'oh!

What the hell does this thing run on then? Infra-red, Wi-Fi? what else is there?
