1. kernel panic upon wake from sleep w/ vx revolution connected
2. kernel panic upon manually waking up mouse (using the power button)
3. kernel panic upon removing receiver
4. LCC 2.13 crashes often when tried to configure (this happens very frequently, even after uninstall + reinstall)
Cant believe i can stand and using this mouse for 3 months, it makes me so worry and i usually save my woks coz i dont know when my macbook will crash. What a fancy mouse with a cheap software.
How long does it take for the next update?

They won't respond even when I open the LLC software and try to change their mapping.
My work around - unplug the USB receiver and plug it back in. Everything works again every time. No kernel panics for me when I do this, by the way.
iMac G4
Mac OS 10.4.9
LLC 213

But, you shouldn't have to do this.
I don't think I should have to do this either. I just wanted to post my problem and work-around because it's reproducible on my iMac. When I unplug/replug the receiver, the LCC and all applications with their individual settings work like they're supposed to immediately. If others try this and it works, then this could help Logitech Techs pinpoint a problem.
To me, the mouse turns into a generic mouse when the iMac wakes - either 10.4.9 doesn't remember there's a Logitech mouse connected or LCC doesn't wake up and play.
If Logitech software updates don't correct this then I'll have use the $20 Steermouse software - I shouldn't have to do this either.

"$20 Steermouse software" maybe Logitech should be giving us $20 to purchase this? or license Steermouse.

How long does it take Logitech to finally fix this???? I bought this rather expensive mouse a few weeks ago and had to stop using it because of that bug! Come on Logitech, we paid a lot of money, fix this!!

I, too, have noticed it takes "forever" for the mouse to wake from sleep. The cursor moves but the buttons won't respond for several seconds and then they respond all at once. The LCC preference pane doesn't recognize the mouse after it wakes. I can usually remedy this by putting the dongle into the mouse and ejecting it again, but why should I have to?

I think my wife will be most relieved. I just sold 2 of our PCs and replaced them with Macs. The frequent kernel panics has her giving me that "We spent this much for this?".
