However, I refuse to pay $10 for functionality that i should have got right out of the box from logitech. Hopefully all these issues will be solved in the next update.

Your software seems to degrade over time, it causes hard computer crashes. If you can't fix it (and given thats its been months and months with repeated failed fixes), it may be time to issue a WARNING on your front page instead of the usual sales pitch.

Don't problems as serious as this one usually ends up in a recall?
Logitech knows about this problem so I'm waiting for the next update to see if it's corrected. If it isn't, then I will consider requesting a 20 dollar reimbursement for 3rd party software, either Controllermate or Steermouse.

Seeing how using 3rd party software like Steermouse alleviates all of the problems I was having, this is a software issue.

It must be us mac users going and updating our system past Logitech's ability - I wonder if Vista users will put up with an 8 MONTH problem and get a once a month "we are working to recreate this problem, thanks for your patience"
Time to send us all $20 so we can purchase software to use this mouse!
burhan - you have my email address, send me info on how to obtain a return authorization for a full refund.

Although you can listen to the radio while you wait, you really bought the car to go forward and backward at your command. It's a basic requirement, and you expect nothing less from your vehicle.
If Logitech's bank accounts dipped slightly every time there was a known software issue, they'd have techs working day and night to get the issues resolved. Or maybe they would just buy Steermouse and be done with it.

I think the point here is that, THEY DON'T CARE.
