Hello,
Starting my iMAC (OS X) is an adventure. Is the mouse going to be found or not? Sometimes it's found other times it isn't. Yes it is set to be "discoverable." Very frustrating.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Can anyone offer help with this problem? I just downloaded the new LCC, although it does nothing to help with Bluetooth mice.
My problem is simple: When I start the iMAC the mouse is NOT found 90% of the time. If I press "connect" it will work 99% of the time.
What can I do? The Mighty Mouse was easily discovered, but functionally, it pales in comparison to the M555b.
Thanks, again.
Richard

SOLVED! Give the iMAC the Bluetooth address found in microscopic typeface next to the battery compartment of the mouse. If this info was present in the docs that came with the mouse it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. But, that would make too much sense.

I can see the address as you indicated. But how do I "give the mac the bluetooth address"?

Cick on "Setup Bluetooth device," you will see it if you click on the Bluetooth icon at the top right of the screen. Then click on "Specify Device" and enter the bluetooth address. That should do it.
Let me know if it works.

I have tried the suggestions on this forum and still have problems with the LogitechM555b mouse. I am attempting to use it with an iMac and Snow Leopard. I have tried configuring it using LCC. I have entered the bluetooth address. The mouse works for a while, but after rebooting it is not detected. I'd say that the mouse is usable about 10% of the time at best. I am totally fed up with it and am about to throw it in the bin!!!!

I should have mentioned that I also have the same problem with the M555b mouse with my Macbook, so the problem is not the iMac. Logitech cordless USB mice work fine with both Macs.

Just thought I'd let you know that I'm having the same problem with my M555b on 2 notebook PC's, one running XP the other W7 Pro.
I also have a Logitech V270 BT Travel Mouse and can use that with no issues. Go figure!

Hi all,
I have just purchased the M555b. I uploaded it to my laptop and then updated the software and now I am unable to connect it to my laptop and it is not being discovered.
I would appreciate some help on getting this mouse to work.
Thanks ![]()
