Mice With Mac (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

This is an intermittent issue that does not usually happen in the first hour of starting the OS. The cursor will repeatedly become briefly unresponsive when moving it across the screen, as if connectivity is being lost off and on. I've tried replacing batteries, different surfaces, and repositioning the receiver. This problem did not happen until after a few weeks of using the mouse.

It's unfortunate, because I really liked the mouse until this started happening. If it continues, I'll have to change mice as this behavior is not only frustrating, but a severe impediment to productivity.

I have exactly the same problem with the V450.

I've been able to narrow it down to whenever an external drive is being accessed, networked or otherwise (example:  Time Machine backups or copying files to a NAS).  The mouse becomes jittery while the trackpad works normally/smoothly.  This must be an implementation problem with the Logitech drivers.  Additionally, I have noticed that the V450 has significantly poorer performance than my LX8, which is also cordless and seems to work without issue.

I can temporarily solve the problem by switching the receiver between USB ports (then back again when the skipping starts anew). I can also confirm ojak's observation that it happens when an external drive is being accessed.

i have a problem with my v450 mice, the first 4 month i used it its workin normaly, n now its start like pressing the left button by it self.. i use it with my vaio laptop with vista os. i use setpoint software. i have try move the usb slot for receiver, change the battery.. n nothing fix it.. im getting frustated, cuz i cant work.. can anyone kindly help me how to fix this? i lose my bill when i bought it, n since i bought it from reseller, i dont know where to claim my guarantee.. thanks
