Mice and Pointing Devices

I received my replacement MX610 Left-hand mouse, It seem to work, but i want to know, if i use a mouse using 2.4Ghz, and my wireless router also using 2.4Ghz is nearby, can my pointer act strange sometimes because of interferences?

for example, the pointer jumping from a point to another.

Would it be safer to put my wireless router somewhere else? what would you recommend me?
