2nd Logitech Wireless Mouse stops working

My first one stopped working about a week back. This one (Logitech M305) stopped today after just about a week!

Any idea what set of troubleshooting steps I should take?

Re: 2nd Logitech Wireless Mouse stops working

Hi Chuck91,

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with your M305. Please try plugging the receiver into a different USB port on your computer (not in a USB hub or extension). If your mouse cursor is still not moving, please try doing a "caps drain", which can be done by the following steps:

- remove the battery from your mouse
- alternate right and left clicking for roughly 30 seconds
- unplug your receiver and place into a different USB port
- put in a fresh battery (AA) and turn your mouse OFF and then back ON.

If the issue persists, please try plugging your mouse into a different PC to see if the issue follows.

I hope this helps!

Best Regards,
