Mice and Pointing Devices

OK, I have a fresh install of Windows 7, 64-bit. I have downloaded the 64-bit setpoint software, I have tried to set up my Anywhere MX Mouse multiple times, and while it is working, I can not program it in any way, the mouse does not show up as an option in the SetPoint software, I have no mouse or keyboard tab. If I look in the 'Unifying Software' app, it shows the mouse there as paired, but when I go through the pairing process and turn it in and off, nothing happens. I have swapped batteries, I have removed the software and reinstalled it, I have manually unpaired it in the Unifying Software pane. Nothing. I can't program any of the buttons on the mouse beyond the standard configuration, meaning that the thumb buttons which I normally set as Page Up and Page Down don't do what is needed.

It seems like other people are having issues with the Anywhere MX, and I don't see anyone that has a resolution, am I missing a resolved thread here somewhere?

Have you tried running SetPoint as administrator?

The Unifying Software is only used to pair or unpair devices from or to the receiver, however, it is a positive sign that the receiver is detected. If running the SetPoint application with the access token does not resolve the issue, please follow the link provided.
