Re: Anywhere Mouse doesn't scroll properly after sleep

Yea, Logitech has a history of ignoring hardware & software bugs that cant be fixed by a reboot.  Take tha t into account during your next purchase decision..

Re: Anywhere Mouse doesn't scroll properly after sleep

I'm also having this issue. I constantly need to put my computer into hibernate and find this issue frustrating. Everything else about my mouse is ideal.

This issue was first detailed more than one year ago. Has any progress been made?

Re: Anywhere Mouse doesn't scroll properly after sleep

Appears to be a common issue.

One solution, use task manager to killsetpoint.exe, and then run setpoint again, this works, but a pain after every sleep.

I made a batch file (wake.bat) and put this in it:-

taskkill /im setpoint.exe /f
"C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP\SetPoint.exe" /s

However it doesn't quite always have the desired effect,

Re: Anywhere Mouse doesn't scroll properly after sleep

I thought I was going nuts. But yeah the mouse scroll just doesn't seem 'right' after wake-up. Its extremely slow.

But after relaunching setpoint.exe, everything goes back to normal.

Come one Logitech, this topic is dated to the end of 2010. Can we PLEASE have a fix?

I'm using a M705 with a MK710 mouse/keyboard combination.

Same problem here. Sad really, but this is par for the course for Logitech.

Re: Anywhere Mouse doesn't scroll properly after sleep

I am also having this problem on a regular basis. Given the duration of this thread with NO resolution, I have to say that I am very dissatisfied with their response (if any).

This is clearly a driver or Setpoint issue, in which something fails to initialize once the system returns from sleep, and this should be obvious from the alternate solutions mentioned in this thread. Pulling the Nano and re-inserting does trigger the appropriate reset, so that SAME reset should occur when returning from sleep mode, eh?

Re: Anywhere Mouse doesn't scroll properly after sleep

Yoiur batch program has never quite worked for me on Windows 7 Pro. It shuts down Setpoint fast enough but doesn’t re-open it.

Thanks!

Re: Anywhere Mouse doesn't scroll properly after sleep

I am also having this scrolling problem after hiberation.  It's annoying.  I am contacting L support to see what they have to say.  Since the number of complains is small consider how many were sold, and if there is no resolution or no issue found,  I will return this mouse M750 as defective and buy a new one and use it for 30 days and return it as defective and the cycle keep going on until I purchase a functional mouse.

Yes, we all know it's a software issue.  Let see ...

Re: Anywhere Mouse doesn't scroll properly after sleep

I have excatly same problem with my Desktop Wave PRO keyboard and mouse set. After waking up computer from sleep mode scroll becomes annoyingly slow. I hope Logitech will soon fix this problem because this is embarrassing.
