After a problem w/my broken (but satisfactorily fixed) MX518, I'm looking to get a new mouse & was hoping I could get some suggestions on these please:
Corded M500 / Gaming G500 / Marathon M705 / Opitcal Gaming G400 & Wireless M510
I do some gaming; mostly puzzles, adventure sets, FPS (not online though) & some photoshop, documents & such.
I'm leaning towards the M510 due to it being wireless (not a deal-breaker though), it's comfortable & has good reviews; but the others all have goods too ... the Corded M500 is comfortable, the Gaming G400 & G500 both are close to the M518 & even have the DPI buttons (though I'm not sure I like G500's Weight Tuning), the Marathon M705 has that extra thumb button; & all have pretty good reviews & ratings.

Purchasing a new mouse is all based on personal preference. I own an MX510 (MX518's predecessor) and I liked it a lot. It was a very comfortable mouse. I have also had the M510 and I did not like it. It was too small and skinny for my hand. I have been using a big mouse for the last 15 years or so. I also currently own the M705 which is a smaller mouse, but it is a wide mouse. It I had the same decision to make as you do, I would personally get the M705 or the G400.
I hope this helps you out.
