Hi...just joined. Need help with Trackman Marble FX. I've use it successfully on 8 different desktops since 1997. It's the best pointing device ever! I've just installed it on a Lenovo laptop, XP Professional, with Mouseware 9.79.1 (also tried with 9.75). When I go to mouse in Control Panel or in Device Manager, I see only Thinkpad UltraNav and HID-compliant mouse. The UltraNav is of course my laptop mousepad. Under HID I only get options to configure a 2 button mouse. In the past, I've always been able to configure to my liking with an image of my trackball. It does work for click/select and alternate context, but I've always used the top left button as double/click. I'd appreciate any advice here. Thanks in advance.

Hi lenjack
Have you tried the mouse on other USB ports and also, do you still get the option for HID-compliant mouse when you remove the MouseWare software?

This is the first use on a laptop. It's been used and recognized without fail on numerous desktops over the years. Talked to Logitech tech support...they had no solution.
