I recently lost my USB receiver for my VX revolution mouse. I know there are 2 receivers for sale, but cannot find the part number in order to purchase the correct one.
I've searched extensively in the battery compartment, but there's nothing there. Could it have rubbed off (This mouse is already 2+ yrs old)? Anyone have a picture they can post of exactly where in the battery compartment it is? Is there another way to find out which receiver I can purchase?
Thanks in advance.

Same problem here. Bought mine at an OfficeMax. Lost the receiver when moving. Around the laser it says "848nm". under the Logitech logo it says FCC ID: DZL202251 and under that it says IC: 1807B-202251.
On the battery cover that is removable it says 403473 on one side of a plastic notch and -0000 on the other side of the notch.
There are no other marking son the mouse that are numbers, the rest is just "performance laser" and microgear by the scroll toggle, zoom by the zoom buttons, ect, But nothing that could possibly indicate a model number or part number.

The P/N is located on a plastic tag used to pull out the battery. If it's missing I can tell you that a VX Revolution with P/N: 810-000570 is from 2007 and older, and 831908-0000 is for newer ones. If you don't want to go out on a limb I would suggest contacting customer support and seeing what they can do for you.
