I have had an MX darkfield for about 2 years and have a new problem.
1) When I click and hold the main mouse button, it depresses sometimes. So my computer thinks I am clicking once, and is really difficult to click and drag.
2) I click once sometimes and it double clicks instead of single clicks. This is a huge problem when I am gaming.
Is this a software or hardware issue? Thanks

I have the same issues with mine. I also have the Performance MX mouse with the darkfield laser. While playing BF3 I can hold down the left mouse button to fire the M16A3 and it will shoot a couple of times then quit. Sometimes you press it and it will just shoot once and quit completely. I will have to press it multiple times to even get it to shoot again.
I know it's not the game because it does it even in windows. When you click on an icon and drag it to the recycle bin it will release it in mid drag and sometimes double click it for me and open the file up. All while keeping the button pressed.
Somewhere on here they said to make sure it's the left mouse button that's messing up to use Setpoint and swap the left and right mouse buttons. If it messes up while using the right button then it's some other problem. If it only messes up when clicking the left button on the mouse then it's hardware. Have you tried it to eliminate the chance of it being a software problem?
