Connect wireless keyboard to nano receiver?

Hello all

I have a VX nano mouse which I use where ever I go with my laptop. I also use when I come home, where it would be extremely nice, if I could connect my keyboard to the nano receiver, so I wont have to, plug in my keyboard receiver also.

My keyboard is a Logitech Ultrax Media Desktop.

Is this possible to achieve, or should I surrender and live with the inconvenience ?

Thanks for your reply!

Best regards.

Re: Connect wireless keyboard to nano receiver?

Hi AndersDK,

Unfortunately, the nano receiver of your VX Nano mouse does not support keyboard connections. You can only use the mouse with this receiver.

Thank you for choosing Logitech.

Re: Connect wireless keyboard to nano receiver?

Dear Calvin,

Are there plans for a wireless keyboard + mouse with a nano receiver?  I have a small laptop, and I like the nano receiver because I don't have to worry about the usb receiver breaking off.  But I would like to have a mouse and keyboard to use with it.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi:smileyhappy:,

Presently, there are no plans for a cordless keyboard+mouse set that uses a nano receiver.

Re: Connect wireless keyboard to nano receiver?

I would buy a keyboard and mouse with the nano receiver!!!!!!!!!    I had been through 5 or 6 mice because I snapped off the USB in the port, until I  bought the nano receiver mouse!  I LOVE IT!  It would just make sense to have a durable product with keyboard use as well.  I wouldn't even mind taking up another USB port for a second receiver.

Please consider making this an option for us!

Re: Connect wireless keyboard to nano receiver?

I have been using the Easy Call wireless keyboard, mouse and speaker system with headphones.  I love it, but when I travel, it is a bit much to cart around a large receiver (which is part of the function of the Easyphone speaker), even if I leave the keyboard home.  So I bought a V220 mouse with a small USB receiver.  First, can I use it by downloading the driver without uninstalling the driver for the Easy Call keyboard, mouse and speaker system?  Or is it the case that I have to remove Set point, reinstall everything, and reset, and that I can only use one of these items at a time.  Like my friends, a combo would be heaven itself.  Please confirm.

OS is Vista, 32-bit, Toshiba Satellite Laptop.  Thank you!

Re: Connect wireless keyboard to nano receiver?

Like most of Logitech's recent keyboards and mice, the V220 and Easy Call use the same SetPoint driver software. You should just need to plug in the V220 and SetPoint should see it. You can use both at once.

Note that the receive that comes with the V220 only runs it, so you can't run the keyboard off of that receiver. There are small some receivers that you could buy that would run both the V220 mouse (or the mouse that came with the Easy Call) and the Easy Call keyboard. That's a real shame. A mouse/keyboard combo where the USB receiver can be plugged in and left there would be very valuable and, I think, a huge seller.

Hopefully it is.
