Disable Mouse Driver when Wireless Mouse out of range or off

How can I configure the Logitech Receiver so that the mouse driver is disabled when the wireless mouse is out of range or off. I want it to behave as with Bluetooth were the mouse driver is unloaded/loaded depending on whether the mouse is available. The reason is that I have my Synaptic touchpad set to be disabled when an external mouse is present. This means that I have to physical remove the Logitech Receiver to enable the touchpad when I don't have the mouse with me.

I have a Anywhere MX and a M305 mouse.

Re: Disable Mouse Driver when Wireless Mouse out of range or off

Hello RSchulz,

There is no way to configure the mouse to be disabled automatically if the mouse is out of range or if the mouse is switched off. The only way the receiver can be disabled is to unplug the receiver or you can disable the mouse manually in Device manager.
