Document Flip Malfunctioning (Blank window)

I am using a Toshbia Satellite C675 Laptop running Windows Home Premium 64-bit.

I also use a Logitech LX3 Optical Mouse with Logitech Setpoint 6.32 software installed.

I am having a problem with the Document Flip function:  It functions normally for a day or two but then it stops working correctly.   The window that pops up is blank where the list of programs is supposed to be.  (i.e  The Document Flip window looks like a blank window with just a frame.)   If I move the mouse inside it and click, however, it will flip me to an open program.  (I just can't tell which one beforehand because, as I described, the Document Flip window looks blank.)

Interestingly, when this happens and I try to open up the Setpoint software by going to the Mouse/Keyboard Settings in the Windows Control Panel, the mouse settings window will not appear at all.

Advice?

Re: Document Flip Malfunctioning (Blank window)

Hello rfast10430,

Do you do anything in particular to get it start working again? Or it just randomly starts working properly? What version of Windows are you running? Do you notice this happen when you have a particular program running?

It does not starting working again until I restart my computer.

I am running Windows Home Premium 64-bit on a Toshbia Satellite C675 Laptop.

I haven't noticed anything in particular that triggers it.

Do you have some debugging software that I can run that will monitor it?

Re: Document Flip Malfunctioning (Blank window)

Hello rfast10430,

Try exiting out of Setpoint and see if the same problem occur. Down in your taskbar next to you time in the right hand corner just right click on Setpoint and click on Exit.

Re: Document Flip Malfunctioning (Blank window)

I checked and there is no icon for Setpoint in my taskbar among the icons shown.

I then went to the "Customize Notification Icons" menu and "Logitech SetPoint Event Manager (UNICODE)" is listed but it does not have an icon symbol to the left of the listing where almost all the others listed to.

Please advise.  Thanks!

Re: Document Flip Malfunctioning (Blank window)

Okay.  I uninstalled, restarted my computer, and then reinstalled Setpoint632_x64.

The Logitech Mouse and Keyboard icon is showing up in the taskbar with the other icons and the Document Flip is working...for now.

I will let you know if it has a problem again.  Thx.

Re: Document Flip Malfunctioning (Blank window)

Document Flip worked fine until this morning.  I left my computer on overnight and when I went to use it this morning, Document Flip behaved incorrectly, as I described in my first message. After I exited Setpoint by clicking on its icon in the taskbar and then restarted Setpoint again, Document Flip appears to be back to normal.

How can we find out what is causing this?
