Using another search, I found a Linux man page for xte, but still can't find it on my system!
I would LIKE a key for COPY (Ctrl-C) and another one for PASTE (Ctrl-V) and/or one for DELETE.
I HAD all this with my MX-700 on Windows.
I would use every button a manufacturer GAVE me if only I could configure them!
SetPoint was too restrictive, but certainly better than what we have by default (nothing) under Linux!
I, too, am HOPING Logitech WILL create SetPoint for Ubuntu!!

I tried using this for zoom:
# Zoom 1 tick up
"xte 'keydown Control_L' 'key equal' 'keyup Control_L'"
b:13
But it won't work. Any ideas?
