Hi All,
Please could someone inform me on how to my Trackman Marble Mouse to connect into a Serial Port on XP Pro.
I Had it working fine for years until i decided to reinstall the C Drive.
Now the Mouse won't even be seen on any of the Comm Ports even though it tells me that all the
Comm ports are working correctly and all the relevant drivers are intalled properly.
I am using a serial extender between the main room and the server room.
So i have no option to use anything else at this stage.
Can anyone suggest what i can do?
Is there perhaps a config file that i need to change in order for me to get this mouse operational
again.
How do i know whether or not the Comm port is routing the mouse and is there any way of checking how this is done.
ThankYou
GarethC

Hello GarethC,
If you are using a PS/2 connection and have SetPoint installed, you should be able to:
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/429/4680?section=dow
- Open SetPoint and select the Tools tab.
- Click the "Install PS/2 Driver" button (if the button is unavailable, a PS/2 driver is already installed).
Note.
Your computer must be powered off when connecting or removing a device connected via the PS/2 ports.
Best Regards,
