Is the Logitech M510 mouse a matte material?

More specifically...is the blue matte and the silver hard plastic?

Hello kazaam,

If you are concerned with glare from a shiny surface, the finish more of a semi matte. Please see the image link in the following link. http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/17986/section/troubleshoot/crid/428/lt_p...

If that was not your concern, please provide more details.

Yes, the blue has a duller matte finish than the silver, although it is not an especially thick layer.  Perhaps it will wear down with time, but overall I prefer the blue because it is both less shiny and has more texture than silver.
