This problem started happening recently.  When I do a normal single click, it often registers in the computer as a double click and behaves like a double click.  Probably 30-50% of the time when I single click, it does that.  Is that a normal problem with this model or a one that is unique to me?  I really want to get this problem solved.  Any help is appreciated.

I have tried a reset btw, didn't work.

I'm experiencing same bahvior with MX 620 and it's rather annoying.

Looks like it's quite common hardware failure (see this related post). Will try to fix it manually as temporary solution. Switching brand as long-term solution.
