For the most part, when I bought the LX8 Cordless Laser Mouse [M-BCK135], I was expecting for it to get 8 hours on two "AA" batteries ... Well, NO. I had already owned this mouse for three months, and it wasn't until a week after the 4th of July when the red light started flashing on the mouse. So I changed those batteries ... Now it's already the 2nd day in August and already (along with SetPoint's low battery warning), the red light starts flashing again!
I kinda expected "at best" for the mouse to get "low battery" after five months prior to changing the batteries, but if I have to start wasting batteries more often, or if I have to start using lithium batteries (with high mAh ratings) in this mouse, then I might as well have to send in this mouse for repairs. Because it's likely something's faulty in the voltage regulation circuitry, or perhaps a short has developed...
