Wow, this is my first time googling the G3 to find out there's actually results of people wanting it back in production.

I have been looking for a new mouse for a few months now because my G3 is worn down so much it's becoming unsuable, even with replacement stick-on pads.

Logitech won't honor the warranty on my mouse because the S/N is too worn off to see.  Even provided them pictures of the bottom and of the barcode on the box; still wouldn't accept it.

They told me the G500 is the successor to it.  Um.. yeah..  The G500 is NOTHING like the G3; netiher are any of Logitech's other products.

I've searched and can't find any mouse like it.  Not a **bleep** thing has two buttons like this.

I've found this on ebay for $50, but hell if I'm going to pay that much for something that wears out within 2 years.

I got a free G9, tried to get used to it; ended up going back to my G3 within 3 days.

Logitech, honor my warranty, please, and get a real successor to the G3; companies provide to niche markets for a reason.

I don't understand why they don't just create a G9x skin that matches the g3 shape. It would save logitech from creating a new mouse and it would please the people who want a new g3.

I too dread the day my G3 dies.  Logitech, bring back the G3 please.

So I think that I found a replacement for my g3. The mouse is a cooler master spawn. It's specifically made for claw grippers and is comfortable ( unlike razer's attempt at small mice ).  It has almost the same dimensions as my g1 ( tiny bit smaller than a g3). I just ordered it so i'll let everyone know how it feels in relation to the g3.

Logitech G3 is the best gaming  mouse I ever had. I'm counter-strike player over 10 years.  I tried a lot of mice of other big brands like Microsoft, Razer,Steel Series, but no one can completely and absolutly replace good old G3 (G1/MX300). This mouse has everything what a good gaming mouse should have. Perfect shape, good weight and sensor (I think optical sensor is better for super-fast reflex moving, but it's only slight deficiency).  Nowadays mice are totally poor and go wrong especially with design, sensor, weight etc. I can't understand, why logitech stop with this perfect product line G3/G1/MX300. Please make something with this situation. It could make a very good customer realtionship  and make a tot of people really happy if they could buy this product. They can make some nice money to logitech too. Just use google and you can see how many people are still hopelessly trying to find/buy this mouse. Thank you and sorry for my english. G3 fan Mirec Z.

I think you should also have a successor to the Logitech mini optical mouse, considering that they are discontinued, and yet, 90% of Koreans use this mouse, WE NEED A SUCCESSOR TO THE G3 AND MINI OPTICAL, CLAW/FINGER TIP USERS REUNITE!

I hope Logitech will release something similar to G3 soon.

But now for me only Razer Abyssus is one possible alternative for G3 by size and by felling in my hand with more interesting sensor.

Please bring back this basic mouse form factor. I remember when the original design was a ball mouse, then changed to optical, and then finally the G3 laser mouse. I'm a big fan of this design and I want to buy more!

too bad logitech dropped the ball and mostly has palm grip mice. the g9x def doesn't cut it for me. I've bought alot of mice trying to find a good replacement for my g3 but nothing has ever felt right. I bought - salmosa,Deathadder, Kinzu, xai, rat7, EC2,cm spawn. I finally found the mouse that has almost the same feel - the abyssus. It doesn't look comfortable in pictures but it feels like it was made for my hand. good shape, awesome sensor but limited dpi options(i want 800) and buttons(i want 5).

I have to agree here; we need the G3 to return!!  Just pull those specs and molds out of the Disney vault and do a new run of this mouse in the exact specs it was originally released in.  This mouse is getting harder and harder to find and the price keeps going up.  It's doubled in the last 2 years!  I will not use any other mouse, so I beg of you, Logitech, re-release this mouse!
