Logitech MX Revolution left click problem

Purchased my mouse 2yrs back in Canada (I stay in India). Does this mouse have warranty coverage in India ?? I tried contacting logitech India, but their phone does not work :smileysad:

Problems (happen about 5 percent of the time):

Single clicks get registered as double clicks.

Text selection breaks in between

New: Double clicks get registered as single clicks

New: Single clicks do not get registered

(All the remaining buttons are working fine and no connection issues)

Hope that either logitech or some one which similar experience have something to say.

Re: Logitech MX Revolution left click problem

This is clearly a micro switch issue.

Get in contact with support by voice or email.

[ Edited ]

Got resloved.

They dont provide me with the warranty nor they have any service :smileysad: Hope that logitech guys start providing international warranty soon. (Dont ask customers to restrict their purchases to the country where they reside.)

Planning to purchase the logiteich MK 700 desktop - somehow still logitech :smileyhappy:. Have a doubt regarding the mouse which comes with the combo. It is mentioned that it requires two AA batteries. Does it also work with just one ??

Re: Logitech MX Revolution left click problem

My old MX Revolution got the same problem after a couple of years use - single clicks were registered as double click.

So I bought the new version, the one with Darkfield laser. Now, one year later, I have the same problem again.

I bought the mouse through my job, so I'm not going to bother with contacting support. Instead, I'm just going to buy a new mouse at my boss's expense.

But I have better things to do than running around shopping for the most expensive mice on the market once a year. When I buy tools that are supposed to be quality tools (at least that's how I interpret the price), I expect them to last much, much longer than that.

So I don't know if it'll be a Logitech mouse next time, despite the fact that I've been a quasi-fanboi for years; even before I encountered the fantastic Squeezebox product line.

Something for you to consider? Or not. Do with this rant as you please.
