Mice and Pointing Devices

Hi,

I have a logitech V470 mouse and am using a USB bluetooth adapter, the IOGear GBU421 Bluetooth 2.1 USB Micro Adapter.  I am using windows vista home, and have recently updated the broadcom bluetooth drivers to ver. 6.3. Windows says that the bluetooth adapter is functioning correctly.  Whenever i try to connect the mouse, i continually get the message that no bluetooth devices were found (after seeing the flashlight animation "search" for a few seconds).  Is this a problem with my adapter, vista, or the mouse itself? any help would be very appreciated! THANKS!
