Seems to work perfectly when working around the OS, internet surfing and the like. However, in any program that doesn't use the OS mous cursor (mostly games), the mouse becomes very jumpy and sticky.
I figured it might be because I move the mouse around more vigerously during games, but I've tried my best to reproduce the jumping/locking/sticking while not in a game, and I can't. I've even tried playing some flash games just to make double sure it's not just in my head. The mouse works fine outside of full-screen applications.
Any thoughts?
OS: Windows 7
CPU: Intel Core i5
RAM: 4 GB

I've messed around with it a bit more. It seems as if the mouse is working fine in or out of a fullscreen program, but it seems to become less sensitive. Is that possible? Using it on one surface works fine outside a game, but the mouse doesn't seem to work on that same surface as well while in a game.

Hello Caracol,
If possible, please try the M185 on a different computer, if the issue follows the mouse, this would indicate a hardware issue. In this case please contact Logitech Customer Care for your region.

Cintech,
I have this problem as well. We tried the mouse on another laptop and it worked just fine. (a windows PC) But on the computer that I purchased the mouse for which is a Mac Book Pro, I encounter the skipping and freezing problems when I try and play game. I am quite displeased at this moment as the reason I purchased the mouse was so that I could play a game easily and not have to use my touchpad. It works fine when it is being used for normal web surfing/ word processing and that sort of thing but as soon as a game starts up it gets sort of.. sticky and jittery. It doesn't matter what surface I have it on.
