Mice and Pointing Devices

This mouse does not work while I am recording a macro using Microsoft Word. Every mouse I have previously owned has always worked while I am recording Word macros.

Hello Pippy,

The macro recorder ignores the mouse for actions within the document (you can still select menu options, etc). For macro-recording purposes you have to stick to the keyboard. Fortunately, *everything* can be done entirely with the keyboard.
Word macros can only be used with keybord commands. In Excel you can record mouse movements on tables.
