Mice and Pointing Devices

I have a new M515 Couch mouse which I installed as per instruction (essentailly plug and play) but the Mac refuses to recognise it. It knows there is a receiver inserted in the USB but it simply refuses to react to the mouse movements.

Restarted the computer several times with no joy and deleted an old Logitech folder from the Application Support in the Library.

I've tried with and without LCC software. LCC knows there is an active mouse if I go to advanced but tells me there is no Logitech Device on the front of its panel.

Can anyone offer advice?

Hello Sniig,

The M515 Couch mouse uses native driver support on a Mac. No Logitech Mac Software is available or required. This means that it will not show up in LCC but it should be working. If possible, please test your mouse on a different computer. Please note: The M515 mouse has a built-in hand proximity sensor to prevent accidental activation while being used on a couch.(you must be gripping both sides of the mouse for it to work)

I'm looking for the same driver... I'm not happy about this reply, since the mouse doesn't appear in LCC, I can not use the scroller to scroll left & right.  I had an Anywhere MX mouse before, and it worked ok. So I bought this one, hoping it would work too...

If I can't use the mouse for left/right scrolling, I want a refund!
