hey,
I just bought a M525 mice. So far I am not able to configure buttons via software on OSX (lion) like I use to be able with my previous generation of logitech mouse.
The mouse is working, but I want to bind the wheel titl to a back function.
Please help!
thanks in advance.

I also USE M525.
This mouse can't work for Lion.
You need to buy older model. like M505.
I am getting mad to knowabout this...

I just bought this. Who woulda thought that it would lose all the amazing functionality! I thought companies upgraded, not downgraded. ![]()
Is there really nothing I can do but return it?
I'm using osx and want the classic tilt wheel features.

Very odd that a newer mouse would have less features than my older one (replacing an LX7). It is also more expensive than other new mice that are supported by LCC. This makes no sense. I bought this mouse specifically for the quiet, accurate scroll wheel, but have lost the ability to scroll horizontally. Since I also own multiple Windows computers, I'll keep it, but as a professional computer tech, I will have to try and remember to warn clients that Mac Support doesn't always mean Mac Support. Bummer.

Had to try latest LCC 3.6 just to see, still no love. With or without LCC, scroll wheel left launches Mission Control and right exits, down launches Dashboard and down again exits - are these options by design or are we just lucky to get anything?! Lame.

I always liked Logitech products. I had several Logitech mices ("Performance MX" for example). I just bought a M525 for my Macintosh. Logitech says it is compatible with OSX. It is really a SHAME. In addition I threw the packaging, I can not return it.
This is the last time I bought a Logitech product.
REMOVE "OSX COMPATIBLE" ON YOUR WEB SITE FOR THIS PRODUCT
