M570 Died

I've had a M570 cordless trackball on my PC for months now.

Worked fine right out of the box and I generally like the trackball.

Last night I popped the ball out to clean debris off the nubs.  No problem.  The stuff came out without a struggle.

When I put the ball back in the cursor was unresponsive.  Ball, wheel, and buttons - no response.

Tried rebooting - no joy.

Tried new battery and rebooting - no joy.

The USB unifiers communicates with the computer OK.

Is this the end of the M570?

Re: M570 Died

Hello Taxcutter,

The M570 does come with a 3 year warranty. If you are able to, please test your M570 on a different computer.   If your problem persists, I would suggest contacting Customer Care for your region for further assistance and a possible warranty replacement.

I hope this helps you out.

SIncerely,
