M705 - SUPER disappointment

Greetings -

It's not that I paid a lot of money, but the frustration with this bug of a mouse is maddening. It is skittish at various times, and I turned off the smooth scroll button, tweaked all my settings to slow and every one of my browsers - Firefox, IE, Chrome, Opera - jump all over the place. It's not even if I can find a pattern...it's never the same movement that causes it.

I checked for updated drivers, uninstalled/reinstalled it and no improvement. I found others in various forums with the same problem. Some solved, most didn't.

Don't take the chance - DON'T BUY IT!!!!

Re: M705 - SUPER disappointment

Hello jake7363,

Please ensure your unifying receiver is plugged directly in to your computers USB port and not in to a pass through device such as a USB hub.  Also, please remove the batteries from your mouse and with the batteries removed press the left and right mouse button repeatedly for about fifteen seconds.  This will cause any residual power being stored in the mouse to be eliminated causing the mouse to be reset.  Re-install your mouse batteries and test your mouse again.  The M705 mouse does come with a three year warranty so if your problem persists please contact Customer Care for your region for further assistance and a possible warranty replacement.

I hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
