Mice and Pointing Devices

I have Logitech MX 1100 working in MacOSX 10.6.6 under LCC 3.3.0 driver. Just switched to Mac from PC and found annoying scroll problem with Adobe Lightroom 3.3: when trying to scroll images one by one with a scroll wheel the pointer jumps lightning fast skippng large group of images. I've never had a problem like this on PC with the same software.

Other than that, the scroll wheel works flawlessly.

BTW, my old MX 1000 connected to the same rig under the same conditions scrolls like it should.

Any thoughts?
