I am having this same problem with the same product. Doesn't seem to be a way to take the mouse apart to clean it. I only hear one click when I left click. I wiped my hard drive and am reinstalling all software and drivers from scratch. I hope the mouse is not permanently "broken".

I had simillar thing with my mx revolution on the laptop with originall and full windows xp home sp2 but this was about 2 years ago. Change the windows for modified for example malcolm mx or modify using nLite... Or wait and maybe someone will write a solution on this thread: http://forums.logitech.com/logitech/board/message?
