Very annoying problem with the MX performance; it goes into standby after about 7 seconds of sitting. The odd thing with this issue? It only happens in games. Every game however. Yes it will standby in the OS too, but only after about 3 minutes or so. I already set all USB devices to STAY ON regardless of anything, so it's not that.

Important note that I cannot find a vauge reference to this problem anywhere.

Setpoint is installed and should be up to date.

Intel i7 960 3.2GHz Quad Core Processor hyperthreaded (therefore octo core in a way)

8GB of RAM

EVGA GTX 580

1.5 TB HDD (about 7000-8000 RPM)

probably overkill 1100 watt PSU

MX Performance mouse

Windows 7 64 bit

Hi stefmor90,

Have you tried putting the receiver into other usb ports?

Can you try a different computer?
