MX Revolution Replacement Reciever

I recieved a replacement reciever for my MX Revolution mouse today.

Replacement Reciever P/N: 831735-1000

MX Revolution Mouse P/N:  831869-0000

The mouse had been working fine before I got the replacement reciever but I lost the old reciever. I am using Vista 32bit Ultimate.

I reinstalled SetPoint and it shows  Control Center version 4.70.213 Driver Version 4.70.213

I tried the reconnect utility and have had no luck geting the mouse to work.

It has been charged and is showing full charge on the mouse.

SetPoint shows the mouse as being a G7 Cordless Laser Mouse. I don't have that mouse at all.

I'm really hopping I didn't get a bad replacement reciever.

I have tried various usb ports and other computers including ones runing XP Pro that the mouse used to work on. Both of the computers detect the Mouse Reciever but the mouse won't do anything. I tried the reconnect utility on those computers too.

HELP!

Re: MX Revolution Replacement Reciever

Apparently its always the last thing you think of...

I Installed the earliest version of SetPoint I had:  3.01

After Installing and a reboot mouse works.

Weird?!?!

Re: MX Revolution Replacement Reciever

Coming into this late but can you all tell me where you found the 831735-1000 receiver? I need one and can't find it available anywhere.
