I also have this problem with the Revolution but I also have the Problem with the left button on the downsidesticking so it repeats very irritating.
I am ready to chuck it, I have only had it for over a year, it has not been abused since I live alone. Not dirty, so the contact
points are clean (caned air cleaned) any Ideas on how to remedy this? I reinstalled the software and reset to default.
I like this mouse But will not purchase another if it has the same issue.

I get the whole double click effect even though I only click the button once on my MX Revolution.

It's done it on ALL my Logitech mice, the last 3 sets. I replace them every 2 years now because it gets so irritating.

I also have my MX Revolution software stop responding and quit, a error that is all over the net and very common with no response from Logitech.

The Setpoint software doesn't even show the MXRevolution any more, it just has a generic mouse/keyboard and I can't even assign the buttons properly.

All I know is I'm hugely disappointed and will be throwing the mouse away and buying something different.

Never had issues with Logitech keyboards, speakers or headphones, all fine. But their mice are just getting worse.

I was searching for something else when I found this post. I just sent my Perfermance MX mouse for the same issue, where single clicks acts as double clicks, click one item to highlight, and highlight everything else in its way, etc. Thankfully I didn't have to fight to get a replacement, but its starting to sound like a design/hardware issue with these mice

Mouce is almost year old, I first thought it was something to do with the PC. I still got MX older model mice works fine, this new one (M-R007) been a pain. I thought logtic used to be a good mouce. Please help
