I have an MX1000 laser mouse that I'm having two problems with:

1. The scroll wheel does not work.I tried setting it to different things in SetPoint (AutoScroll, Universal Scroll) but it will not scroll in any program.

2. The mouse turns off and does not turn back on until I press a button. Meaing while I'm typing this paragraph the lights battery meter lights on the mouse will go off and the mouse will not work. In order for it to work I have to push a button on it and the lights will come back on and it will work.

Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like the mouse could be defective Please contact Customer Support  for further assistance (and possible warranty replacement).

I brought the mouse into work where I am running XP 32bit and the scroll wheel works. So it must be something with my home machine. I ordered an MX Revolution the other day since it was on sale so I'll have to see if the scroll wheels on that work at home. Any idea why the wheel wouldn't work on Vista 64?
