I am considering replacing my existing Logitech keyboard with the illuminated K800. However, I would like to keep my existing MX1100 mouse. Is this mouse compatible with the Unifying Receiver that comes with the K800 keyboard. If not, is this keyboard compatible with my existing Wave Keyboard - MX1100 mouse USB Receiver?

You have two options. Look at the product details for your mouse on the Logitech website. (It shouldn't take more than a minute or two.) Pick up the mouse and look at its bottom. No, here's a third option, look at the receiver for your existing mouse/keyboard.
If you see this anywhere:
Then the mouse is compatible with the Unifying Receive. If not, then you will need to keep the existing receiver.
