Mice and Pointing Devices

Dear forums,

I've been using my dear mx518 for almost 2 years, and I always loved it. Now it started an interesting way of malfunctioning: sometimes, it randomly turns off, and replugging it doesn't work, I have to restart the computer.

What should I do? I'm from Hungary by the way.

My PC is:

Intel core2duo @ 1.6Ghz

1GB DDR RAM

geForce 8600GT

Windows 7

Logitech wireless keyboard (ex110 i guess)

and the Logitech mx518

Hi,

Please check if this still happens when the mouse is plugged into a system running XP or Vista. This will verify if it is a Windows 7-related issue.
