my VX Nano micro receiver has suddenly stopped functioning. On insert in any USB slot the device manager shows two failed USB HID devices with an error saying that the device could not start (code 10). The drivers are Microsofts own USB HID drivers.
The VX and receiver has worked perfectly for the last 6 months (used occasionaly).
I've tried the receiver on three different laptops, my main system with Vista Business SP1 (32 bits) and two additional systems with XP Pro SP2 (32-bits). All systems are showing the same symptom. Failed to start USB HID devices with code 10.
Could the reciever be faulty or what?

I've been trying everything (uninstalling software, getting in depth inside the Registry,...), but it stop working from one day to another.
Thanks in advance...

Hi, the receiver is most likely broken. I couldn't get mine to work so I used my warranty and got a brand new mice from the supplier.
If you're mice isn't covered by warranty you can purchase a replacement receiver (at least in the US and Canada) from the Logitech Spare Parts Store or get one for free from customer service depending on the age of the mice, there are several threads in the forum covering this topic.
Here's the likt to the Spare Parts Store: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/349/4872&cl=roeu
